Experimental high-energy nuclear physics. Main analyzer of the first ALICE Run 3 inclusive charged-particle jet cross section in pp at √s = 13.6 TeV (preliminary; paper in preparation; EPS-HEP 2025 PWG-JE merge talk on behalf of ALICE). Pb/scintillating-fiber calorimetry R&D for the ePIC Barrel Imaging Calorimeter at the Electron–Ion Collider.
Available early 2027 for postdoctoral positions. PhD defense expected 2026.11–12; degree conferred 2027.02.
Now
What I’m working on
- ALICE Run 3 charged-particle jets
- Main analyzer for the thesis paper, R-dependent charged-particle jet production in pp at √s = 13.6 TeV with ALICE (in preparation, 2026).
- Tracking-efficiency systematics (HP 2026 prep)
- Contributed the pp 13.6 TeV total tracking-efficiency systematic (~1.5%) for the PWG-JE Hard Probes 2026 preparation; ITS-TPC matching code reused by a PWG-JE colleague as a starting point for PbPb tracking studies.
- ePIC Barrel Imaging Calorimeter
- Lead offline analyst for the CERN PS T10 (2025.07) test-beam paper (in preparation, 2026); on-site DAQ shifter and co-author for the KEK AF–AR (2025.03) campaign; co-author on the first beam-test paper (submitted, NIMA-D-26-00482).
- ALICE O2Physics framework
- 37 pull requests (18 merged) including a central-framework patch in
Common/Tools(PR #15174, TrackTuner) and authoredjetCrossSectionEfficiency.cxx(PR #14057), the PWG-JE task used by the SKKU Run 3 charged-jet analyses for cross-section normalization. - Mentoring and community
- Co-mentor of two MSc co-analyzers on the ALICE Run 3 O–O charged-jet measurement; co-organizer and instructor of the KoALICE O2 Tutorial (SKKU, 2024.01).
